An Orlando man was killed in a traffic accident in Sanford late Wednesday night, Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said.
The fatal incident was reported close to 8 p.m. on US 17-92, near the exit to merge onto I-4. The man was traveling northbound on 17-92 and made a left turn to get onto the interstate.Michael Fockler, 60, of Sanford was driving southbound on 17-92, when he struck the victim’s vehicle on the right side. The man, whose name has not been released, was ejected from his motorcycle. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Montes said the crash remains under investigation.
