Driver killed in Butler Blvd. crash near Jacksonville Florida

Alcohol is suspected, according to the Florida Highway Patrol, but no one has been charged.The accident occurred in the outside eastbound lane about 5:15 p.m. as vehicles were at a standstill waiting to exit onto Hodges Boulevard, the Highway Patrol said. Louisiana resident Darryl Early, 47, was in a Toyota 4-Runner when 53-year-old Dann Lute of Jacksonville crashed into him in a Ford F-250 pickup.Lute was not injured, but Early died, the Highway Patrols said. Two other vehicles lined up in front of the SUV were also involved, as one automobile crashed into the next.The driver of one of those vehicles, 32-year-old Matthew Moberg, sustained minor injuries. The FHP did not specify if the fourth driver, 51-year-old James Tittle, was injured. Tittle and Moberg are both Jacksonville residents.
