A driver is in custody for suspected DUI after crashing into construction barriers in uptown Charlotte early Friday morning.
The wreck happened around 3:38 a.m. near the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's Central station.
Police say the driver's injuries are unknown. No other vehicles are believed to be involved.
