Concord, NH : Several car crashes in Manchester on Saturday, December, 9th 2017
Firefighters rescued 12 people trapped inside a bus after a crash Saturday on Interstate 93 in Manchester.
Authorities said three other vehicles were also involved. First responders were forced to use the "Jaws of Life" after the door of the bus was damaged during the crash.
No one on the bus was injured, but officials said occupants of the vehicles did suffer some non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash was one of many on the roadways during the first significant statewide snowfall of the season.
Another crash involving seven cars on Interstate 293 North between 93 and South Willow Street left traffic backed up for miles.
A short time later, two separate cars crashed into a fire truck that was responding to the scene. No one was injured.
State police said they received more than 80 reports of crashes and vehicles off the road during Saturday's snow.
