BEDFORD COUNTY, VA : 19-year-old dies, 2 taken to the hospital after Bedford County crash on Wednesday, 3rd September 2024

Virginia State Police (VSP) said a 19-year-old died after a crash in Bedford County.

VSP said they are investigating a two-vehicle crash, which resulted in a fatality.

The crash occurred on Wednesday at 3:59 p.m., on Route 24, one-tenth of a mile east of Nemmo Road in Bedford County, VSP said.

According to VSP, a 2008 Honda Accord was traveling east on Route 24 when the vehicle crossed the center line to avoid a slow-moving vehicle and hit a 2023 GMC Denali head-on.
