At least three children were injured following a horse-drawn buggy crash on Tuesday.
Details weren’t immediately available, but four children were in the buggy, and three were taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Their identities and conditions weren’t available.
The crash happened at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of Fairbank-Amish Boulevard when the buggy and a 1991 Chevrolet pickup collided.
The truck, driven by 33-year-old Justin Annis of Fairbank, was headed south when it collided with a southbound buggy, according to the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office.
