Appleton ,WI : 25- Years old driver killed and his passenger njured after single-car crash along Appleton Avenue on Friday ,March 27th 2015

A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was killed and his passenger injured early Friday when their car left the street and struck a tree.

Milwaukee police said the 2008 Pontiac G6 was eastbound in the 8000 block of Appleton Ave. about 4 a.m. before the crash. The driver died at the scene, while his 28-year-old male passenger suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
