Estero, FL : Three people injured after a wrong-way crash on Interstate 75 in Estero on Thursday night, June 18, 2015

Three people were sent to the hospital after a wrong-way crash on I-75 in Estero Thursday night.

We're told a driver was going the wrong way in the northbound lanes of I-75 near mile marker 123.

"It was like a split second. I was like 'oh my God, what's going on?'" said one witness.

One vehicle was able to avoid the car that was traveling the wrong way.

"It was so fast," said one passenger. "We saw her swerve and she was by us and hit another car."

The wrong-way car struck two vehicles.

"The truck there hit the front end of that car and just destroyed it," said another witness. "It's a miracle they're alive."

In fact, witnesses told us the wrong-way driver was able to walk away from the crash.

"She was fine to be honest," said a witness. "She had a cut. She had a black eye. I mean, what it would look like if you got in a bad accident. But, she was otherwise fine [and] able to move everything."
