Milwaukee,WI : Surveillance video catches hit-and-run crash in Walker's Point on may, Tuesday 23th 2017

A car ran over a man in Milwaukee's Walker's Point neighborhood last month, and police are still looking for the driver.

Surveillance video captured the hit-and-run, which took place at 2nd Street and National Avenue around 2:20 a.m.

The video shows a man standing in the crosswalk, and a Chrysler turning the corner. After hitting the victim, the driver of the car kept going.

Witnesses rushed to help. WISN 12 News talked with people familiar with the area who said it can be dangerous around bar-closing time, but they couldn't believe the driver's actions.

"Just doesn't make any sense," Jonathan McGinley said. "How can anyone feel fine about it and not feel guilty? You would think they would come forward or at least come back and see if the guy is OK."
