CHANDLER, AZ : Head-on crash leaves 2 dead, 1 hurt in Chandler on Thursday, 18th January 2024

A crash in Chandler has left two people dead and another hurt late Thursday night.

According to Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies, two cars collided head-on near Hunt Highway and McQueen Road just after 10 p.m. Two people died at the scene, and another was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The victims haven’t been identified.

Deputies are still working to determine if speed or impairment played a role in the collision. The intersection was closed throughout the night but reopened around 7 a.m.
