Bedford , NH : Driver was hospitalized with serious injuries after crashing her car westbound near the Route 293 on Tuesday , December 23rd 2014

A driver was hospitalized with serious injuries after crashing her car on Route 101 westbound near the Route 293 northbound split in Bedford early Tuesday morning.

State police said the driver, 21-year-old Jennifer Heppe, of Milford, was traveling on Route 101 when she lost control of her car and struck a tree.

Heppe was taken to Elliot Hospital where she was being treated for serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
