Milam County, TX ; 2 vehicle crash in Milam County leaves 1 dead on Friday, 16th August 2024

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers are currently investigating a two-vehicle crash in Milam County that killed one man on Friday.

DPS says around 2:16 p.m., a 2016 Freightliner truck tractor towing a semi-trailer, was slowing down to make a left turn into a private road.

A 1997 Ford Ranger, driven by Danny Ray Morgan of Cameron, was following the truck.

The driver of the Ranger was unable to control the speed of his truck, and hit the back of the flatbed trailer.
