CHARDON TOWNSHIP, OH : Two recent Chardon High School graduates killed in crash on Tuesday, June 6, 2017
The second Chardon High School graduate involved in a crash on State Route 44 Tuesday afternoon has died.The crash happened around 12:55 p.m. in Chardon Township. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 17-year-old Jackson Condon was driving a Toyota Prius west on Hosford Road when he failed to stop at the intersection of State Route 44.
The car was struck by a 2004 White Sterling commercial truck driven by a 46-year-old Erie, Penn. man.
Condon was taken by Life Flight to MetroHealth Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead Wednesday afternoon.
His passenger, 18-year-old Dominic Ricci, was transported to TriPoint Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
