CEDAR RAPIDS, IA : No one injured after car crashed into a house in Linn County on Sunday, 18th February 2024

Just before 9:15 on Sunday morning, Linn County Deputies, Anamosa Ambulance, Linn County Sheriff’s Rescue, and Springville Fire responded to an accident at 1090 County Home Road.

At the scene, responders learned that the driver, a 32-year-old man from Toddville, Iowa had fallen asleep while driving west on County Home Road. He lost control of the 2006 Ford Escape, causing the vehicle to go through a fence before striking a house at 1090 County Home Road.

The driver wasn’t injured or impaired by the accident. He has been cited with Failure to Maintain Control. No one was at the home during the accident.
