Gainesville, FL : Truck driver killed in Suwannee County crash on Friday, 16th September 2016

A truck driver was killed when his semi went off Interstate 10 in Suwannee County, spun around and overturned early Friday morning.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said Richard Layton, 41, of Jacksonville died in the crash.


The crash occurred at about 4:30 a.m. Friday on I-10 westbound near mile marker 278, according to an FHP media release.

Layton died at the scene.
