Duluth, MN : Man injured in Iron Range ATV crash on Sunday, July 24, 2016

An man was hospitalized after an all-terrain vehicle crash on the Iron Range Sunday.

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office reported that Randy Constantine, 59, was pulling a trailer behind an ATV at around 3:20 p.m. at 4153 Nelson Road in Cherry when a wheel fell off the trailer. Constantine was thrown from the ATV and landed in a ditch with the ATV on top of him, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The man was airlifted to St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth. Information on his condition was not available Sunday evening.

Virginia Ambulance and the Cherry Fire Department and EMS assisted at the scene. The incident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
