One driver was trapped in their vehicle after a two-car rollover accident Tuesday, according to the fire department.
Firefighters were dispatched to an accident on Mill Plain Road on Tuesday morning. Firefighters that arrived on the scene assessed the accident and found that there was one driver trapped. The fire department said it took precautions to prepare for a fire as they attempted to extricate the driver.
The driver was freed quickly and was evaluated at the scene, the fire department said. After being evaluated at the scene, the driver was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. There was no update on the condition of those involved Tuesday afternoon.
