SELAH, WA : Yakima driver, passenger injured in crash near Selah on Friday, February 24th 2017
Two men were injured Friday evening when a pickup ran a stop sign and struck a car northeast of Selah, according to the Washington StatePatrol.
A crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Pomona Road and State Route 821 where Reba N. Lewis, 25, of Yakima ran a stop sign in her 2000 Chevrolet S pickup and struck a 2001 Dodge Neon, the State Patrol said in a news release.
The Neon’s driver, Noah H. Kizziar, 21 of Yakima, and a passenger, John E. Hale, 22, of Selah, were taken to Virginia Mason Memorial hospital where they were treated and released. Lewis, who was not injured, was cited for the crash, the State Patrol said.
All three people were wearing their seatbelts and intoxicants were not involved, the State Patrol said.
