Hudson, N.H : Minivan crashes into Dunkin' Donuts in Hudson on Friday morning, June 10, 2016

A Hudson Dunkin' Donuts is back open after a vehicle crashed into the building Friday morning.

Surveillance video shows the minivan crashing through a wall, sending debris flying. Police said the driver told them she that she was in reverse when she hit the accelerator.

Police said the location is one of the busiest Dunkin' Donuts in town, and the fact that it was particularly busy Friday morning might have kept an employee from getting seriously hurt.

"I heard a loud, extremely loud bang and some shattering glass, and when I looked around the sandwich station, I saw a white van and a woman -- well, I think it was her daughter -- was peeking her head out the door," employee Shayna McDonald said.No one was hurt, but McDonald said it could have been different had it been a normal day.

"That's my favorite seat in the building right there," McDonald said, pointing to where the vehicle crashed through the building.

McDonald said she normally sits in that seat at that time of the morning, but because business was brisk, she had to stay on the line.

"I guess I was 10 minutes late to go on my break, so I guess God is good," she said. "That's all I can say."

Hudson police said the driver, Jennifer McComas, 43, of Hudson, told them that she was trying to straighten out her van to fit into a parking space and thought the van was in reverse.

"And it was still in drive, so when she put her foot on the gas, this is the result," Lt. David Bianchi said.

Police said no charges are pending at this time.

Employees were allowed back in and began cleaning up the mess, including throwing out food that might have been exposed to broken glass.

"Any food that's been opened is being discarded, and the building has to be thoroughly cleaned," Deputy Fire Chief John O'Brien said. "We've already been in touch with the state food inspector."

The Dunkin' Donuts was able to re-open about 1 p.m. But there will be at least one change. McDonald said she's not going back to her favorite seat.

"No, I think I'm going to move," she said.

A repair crew had begun working on the building by 9 a.m.
