Reading,PA : Schuylkill County man dies more than a week after a single-vehicle accident on February, Friday 16th 2018

A Schuylkill County man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Lehigh County earlier this month, officials said Friday.

Christopher Angelo, 41, of Schuylkill Haven was pronounced dead Thursday about 4 p.m. in Lehigh Valley Hospital, near Allentown.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday to determine the cause and manner of death.

State police said the vehicle Angelo was driving appeared to have veered off the road, struck a tree and slid down an embankment in the 1600 block of Independent Road, also known as Route 863, in Weisenberg Township about 2 p.m. on Feb. 7.
