Northampton, MA : One woman injured after two cars collided near Murphy's Realtors at 44 Conz St. Thursday morning, May 26, 2016

One woman was transported by ambulance to Cooley Dickinson Hospital after two cars collided on Conz Street Thursday morning.

Members of the Northampton police and fire departments responded at 8:54 a.m. to the scene near Murphy's Realtors at 44 Conz St.

According to police, a Subaru Legacy driven by Cora Gaulin, 31, of Northampton, struck the rear of a Toyota Highlander driven by Dana Blackburn, 49, of Heath. The Subaru had front-end damage and the Legacy was damaged on the left rear.

According to police, Blackburn was taking a slow right turn into the parking lot when Gaulin struck her vehicle.

Blackburn was transported to the hospital with minor injuries following the crash, according to police.

The crash remains under investigation with possible charges pending, police said.

Elizabeth George of Wilson Avenue was present at the scene after hearing the collision from her nearby house.
