Mosinee, WI : 22-year-old Coloma man killed, and four people injured in car crash on Interstate 39 in Marathon County on Wednesday morning, March 16, 2016

The person who died in a crash between a car and a semi Wednesday morning on Interstate 39 near Mosinee has been identified as a 22-year-old Coloma man.

Lynn Herschberger died in the crash, which happened shortly after 10 a.m. when a northbound 1993 Ford Taurus tried to change lanes, but lost control and spun around, according to a news release from the Wisconsin State Patrol. The car was hit in the rear passenger side by a northbound semi and came to rest in a ditch.

The driver of the car, a 48-year-old man, and three other passengers, a 21-year-old man, a 23-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the semi, a 51-year-old man from Beamsville, Ontario, was not hurt.
