OTTAWA COUNTY, MI : 2 injured in 3-car crash that shut down EB I-96 for over an hour on Saturday, 22nd June 2024

Two people are injured following a crash involving three cars on EB I-96 on Saturday evening, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.

According to MDOT, the crash shut down EB I-96 after 48th Avenue (Exit #19) around 5:10 p.m. The freeway reopened around 6:45 p.m.

OCSO said the initial investigation shows traffic on EB I-96 was slowing down due to an unrelated motorist assist.
