Sidney, OH : 46-year-old Kristi M. Clark died in a single-vehicle crash on Ohio 47 in Shelby County on Sunday morning, August 7, 2016

Alcohol and speed are considered factors in a single-vehicle crash that killed 46-year-old Kristi M. Clark, of Sidney, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and rescue personnel responded at approximately 12:47 a.m. to the 2000 block of Riverside Drive on the report of a single-vehicle crash.

Clark was driving a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer westbound on Riverside, west of Sidney Freyburg Road, when the vehicle went off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail, according to the release.

The vehicle then traveled across the road and struck another guardrail. Clark was partially ejected in the second impact, according to the release.

Clark was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
