Butler County,MO :Man seriously hurt in car vs. tractor crash on Friday ,June 26th 2015

A Broseley man was flown to the hospital after his car struck a tractor.

The crash happened just before 1 p.m. on Route B, west of Route W, in Butler County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's crash report.

Gerald D. Vandermark, 82, was westbound when he failed to yield his 2003 Chevy Tracker to an oncoming John Deere 8200 tractor driven by James Inman, 44, of Poplar Bluff.

The Tracker struck the tractor, seriously injuring Vandermark who, according to the report, was not wearing a seat belt.

Vandermark was flown to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
