Baton Rouge, LA : Cyclist in critical condition after Baton Rouge collision on Tuesday night, March 14, 2017

Officials say a cyclist is in critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle while riding in Baton Rouge.

Baton Rouge police spokesman Sgt. Don Coppola tells The Advocate that the man was hit Tuesday night while he was trying to cross a road.

He says the victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

It is unclear whether the unidentified driver will be facing charges.
