Waterloo,IA : 2 die in evening crash in Waterloo on May,Saturday 26th 2018

The holiday weekend became tragic in Waterloo when two people died in a crash Saturday evening.

Waterloo Police on Sunday morning still were not releasing details on the crash, which was reported about 5:45 p.m. near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Mobile Street, but confirmed it involved two fatalities.

The vehicles involved were a motorcycle and car.

The crash closed Martin Luther King Drive, a major road way between Franklin Street and North Elk Run Road, for more than two hours Saturday.
