Houston, TX : Driver dead after crashing into tree in north Houston on Tuesday, 19th February 2019

A man is dead after crashing into a tree in north Houston, police said.
The man was driving a gray Honda Civic northbound in the 1300 block of Northborough Drive around 3:20 a.m. Tuesday when he started to veer into oncoming southbound traffic, according to Houston Police Department Sgt. J. Uribe.
A southbound driver told investigators that the Civic driver appeared to have overcorrected, swerved off the roadway and crashed into a tree just off the curb.
