JACKSONVILLE, FL : 23-year-old man killed while walking on Butler Boulevard on Sunday, 14th April 2024

A man was killed while walking on Butler Boulevard early Sunday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Around 12:18 a.m., a 23-year-old Buffalo, New York man was walking on the ramp from Butler Boulevard westbound near Belfort Road.

A sedan continued down the ramp, and the report said the man appeared in the travel lane in front of the driver. The man was declared dead as a result of the crash, FHP said. The exit ramp was closed while authorities investigated.
