Sheboygan County, WI : Plymouth Pedestrian killed after car swerves on frost-covered highway on Saturday, December 5, 2015
An SUV lost control on a frost-covered Sheboygan County highway Saturday, then crashed into and killed a pedestrian.
The crash happened about 7 a.m. on Highway 23 in Plymouth, just east of County C.
According to a Sheboygan Press report of a Sheriff's Office release, a 2002 Ford Explorer was westbound when it began sliding off the roadway onto the westbound shoulder, where it rolled and landed on the pedestrian. The victim, who was also westbound, tried to get out of the way but was unable to avoid the rolling Explorer.
No information about the driver or the victim was released Saturday.
