A woman was killed and a man had to be flown to Carolinas Medical Center after a crash in Bessemer City late Tuesday night.
A witness sent Channel 9 video from the scene and said the crash happened on Maine Avenue just before 11:30 p.m.
That witness said the couple drove past a police car, and when it turned around to follow them the couple tried to turn onto 9th Street but ended up in a creek.
