REYNOLDS STORE, VA : Driver injured in propane tanker truck crash on Wednesday, December, 6th 2017

A propane tanker truck that crashed about 40 feet down an embankment Wednesday injured the driver and snarled traffic for hours.

The crash occurred at about 11 a.m. on North Frederick Pike (U.S. 522), about a quarter-mile north of Bloomery Pike (Route 127), according to Virginia State Police. The southbound Puryear Tank Lines truck plunged down a steep hill into the woods, and driver Robert P. Napier had to be extricated.
