Six people were injured in a Burton crash at U.S. 21 and S.C. 116 Tuesday afternoon, according to the Burton Fire District.
The two-car crash around 3:30 p.m. at Trask Parkway and Laurel Bay Road ended in four adults and two juveniles being transported to a local hospital with injuries that appeared to be non-life threatening, according to a fire district news release.
Both vehicles sustained moderate damage, and traffic was delayed for approximately 45 minutes, according to the release. Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort Fire Department assisted with the crash right outside of the station’s entrance.
