Staten Island, N.Y : Two people minor injuries after a four-car accident in Dongan Hills on Monday afternoon, March 13, 2017

Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries Monday afternoon after a four-car accident in Dongan Hills, a spokesman for the city Fire Department said.

The incident, involving an SUV, two sedans and a parked SUV, happened at the intersection of Hylan Boulevard and Burgher Avenue at approximately 5:01 p.m., the spokesman said.

The two people with injuries were taken to State Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze.

Traffic on Burgher Avenue was temporarily blocked off, but was moving again by 5:30 p.m. Traffic on Hylan Boulevard was unaffected by the incident.
