BUCKEYSTOWN, MD : Anne Arundel County man dead after crash south of Buckeystown, Md. in the area of Md. 28, east of Md. 85 on Saturday, 6th July 2019

An Anne Arundel County, Md., man was pronounced dead Saturday night after a crash in the Tuscarora area, south of Buckeystown, according to Maryland State Police.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the single-vehicle crash in the area of Md. 28, east of Md. 85, according to a news release from state police.

Michael Edward Era of Pasadena, Md., was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Era was the driver and only person in the vehicle, police said.

State police were dispatched to the crash at 8:53 p.m. Saturday.

The investigation into the crash was ongoing.
