Monticello, IN : Two Twin Lakes students injured in a school bus accident in White County on Wednesday morning, April 13, 2016

Two Twin Lakes students were treated for injuries they suffered in a school bus accident Wednesday morning, according to White County Sheriff's Office.

The bus and a Peterbuilt semi were both westbound on U.S. 24. When the bus slowed down to make a stop just west of Indiana 39, the semi rear-ended the bus, according to the investigation.

Two children were taken to IU Health White Memorial Hospital in Monticello for treatment, according to the sheriff's office.

The bus was driven by Joyce Latta, Monon, and the truck was driven by Brian Powell, Logansport, according to the sheriff's office.
