Saint Paul,MN : Minnesota state trooper injured in head-on crash on May, Tuesday 15th 2018

The Minnesota State Patrol trooper injured Tuesday in a head-on collision thanked well-wishers in a video posted to Twitter on Wednesday, adding that recovery will be “a bit of a journey.”

Sgt. Mike Krukowski’s Chevrolet Tahoe squad vehicle was struck head-on by another motorist Tuesday afternoon in Lakeville, seriously injuring the 35-year-old trooper and the other motorist, 29-year-old Wesley Paul Briggs of Lakeville.

Krukowski was taken by ambulance to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis with a broken arm and broken bones in his feet, while Briggs was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
