Walker Springs,AL : 15-year-old killed, 17-year-old injured in single-car crash in Walker County on may, Tuesday 23th 2017

A single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon claimed the life of a Walker County teen and sent another to the hospital, Alabama State Troopers said.

Troopers say a 15-year-old, who hasn't been identified, was killed when the car she was riding in left Highway 269 and struck a utility pole and a tree. The 17-year-old driver was taken to Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper with undisclosed injuries. The driver's condition is unknown at this time.

Troopers are still investigating the cause of the wreck, which occurred near mile marker 33, one mile south of Parrish.
