Monett, MO : Lampe teen injured in Golden wreck on Tuesday, August 16, 2016

A Lampe teenager was injured Tuesday in a wreck at 7 a.m. on Highway 86, two miles east of Golden.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sheridan Ponder, 19, of Lampe, was driving a 1992 Chevrolet pickup westbound when his vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a tree.

Ponder suffered serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark.

It is unknown if he was wearing a safety device, and the vehicle was totaled.
