Dothan, AL : Man killed in Friday crash in Pike County on Friday, January, 12th 2018

A two-vehicle crash Friday morning claimed the life of a Troy man.

Martin Reyes, 29, was killed when his 1997 Pontiac Sunfire struck a 2012 Mack Truck, driven by Meredith Douglas Street Jr., 59, of Alabaster. Reyes was not using a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Street was not injured.

The accident occurred around 6 a.m.

The crash occurred on U.S. Highway 231 near the 62 mile marker in Pike County.

ALEA is still investigating, and no further information is available at this time.
