One man killed in crash near Moulton Alabama

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a car near Decatur Saturday afternoon, and two others were injured.Curtis Chase, 57, of Moulton, was killed when his 2002 Harley Davidson collided with a 2004 Pontiac driven by Shirley Green, 58, of Decatur.

The wreck occurred one mile west of Decatur on Alabama 24 at 1:35 p.m. Saturday, according to state troopers.Harley Chase, 14, was a passenger on the motorcycle and also was injured. Both were wearing helmets, troopers said.All three were transported to area hospitals, and Curtis Chase was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to a trooper on duty at Troop B who would not provide his name.The trooper did not know to which hospitals the victims were taken.
