Two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after their car crashed into a utility pole in north Charlotte.
The Wednesday morning crash blocked Sunset Road between Peachtree and Beatties Ford roads around 9 a.m.
The wreck knocked down utility lines. Both people were taken to Carolinas Medical Center, according to MEDIC.
It was unclear when the road would reopen.
