EDINA, MO : Teens injured in crash north of Edina on Saturday, March 25th 2017
Two teens were injured in a Saturday night crash north of Edina.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Keagan L. Hamlin, 15, of Knox City, was northbound on Eagle Street, two miles north of Edina, at 8:39 p.m. The patrol said the vehicle traveled off the left side of the road, struck a dirt pile and became airborne.
Hamlin was taken by Knox County Ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville with minor injuries.
A passenger, Robert Mauch, 14, of Edina, was taken by private conveyance to Hannibal Regional Hospital with moderate injuries.
The patrol said both were wearing seat belts.
The patrol was assisted by the Knox county Sheriff's Department and Knox County EMS.
