South Jamaica, NY : Man dies after crashing into divider on Queens highway on Sunday, March 1, 2015

A man died after he lost control of his car on a Queens parkway early Sunday, police said.

The man, who was not immediately identified, was traveling west on the Belt Parkway when he veered to the left and slammed into the concrete center divider near Rockaway Blvd. in South Jamaica around 3:10 a.m., authorities said.

Emergency responders rushed the man to Jamaica Hospital where he died.

Police were investigating the incident.
