One person died in a crash on Highway 24 in Woodland Park Wednesday night.

Police said it happened at the intersection of Highway 24 and County Road 25 around 6 p.m.

A sedan turning eastbound on Highway 24 went into the westbound lanes, police said. The sedan hit another vehicle head on. The driver was killed, police said.

The accident is under investigation.
