GAITHERSBURG, MD : Vehicle crashes into wooded area off I-270 in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, 8th November 2023

First responders are on the scene in Gaithersburg after a vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a wooded area.

The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on the southbound lanes of I-270 between I-370 and Shady Grove Road.

Traffic in the area is experiencing delays.

It is unclear if anyone involved in the crash was injured. The cause of the crash remains unknown.
