Tallahassee, FL : 5 injured in crash involving Disney World bus on Sunday, August 6, 2017

Five people were injured after a vehicle ran a red light and rammed into a Disney World bus Sunday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say Ritesh Bhagani, 34, of Winter Garden was driving on Buena Vista Drive about 6:30 p.m. when he ran a red light at Osceola Parkway, highway patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said.

Bhagani rammed into the front of a Disney World bus with 19 passengers, Montes said.

The bus driver, Collins Yakep, 47, of Orlando was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Two others on the bus were also transported for minor injuries, troopers said.

Montes said Bhagani and a female passenger in his vehicle were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Charges are pending in the crash, Montes said.
