CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN : 1 dead, 2 injured after crash on Tennessee highway on Monday, 8th January 2024

One person is dead, and two others are injured following a multi-vehicle crash in Cumberland County on Monday, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
THP said at about 11:30 a.m., a Peterbilt dump truck and a Ford F450 box truck were traveling on Miller Avenue as a Kia Sedona minivan was traveling on Lantana Road.
The minivan reportedly ran through the intersection, striking the dump truck and the box truck on the right side. THP said the impact caused the dump truck to spin around and come into contact with a GMC Sonoma.
Two drivers are injured, and one is dead as a result of this crash. Lantana Road is closed from US 127 to Miller Avenue as the scene remains active, THP said.
