Greenville, NC : Woman charged with DWI after wreck on Sunday, February 19th 2017

A Greenville woman is charged with driving while impaired after she was in a collision on Memorial Drive, according to a weekly review of Pitt County court records.
Cassandra Jan Kirk, 36, 704 River Hill Drive, was stopped on Memorial Drive near Sylvan Drive about 1:50 p.m. on Feb. 19, according to the Greenville Police Department. The citation showed she was in a property damage collision, but no other details were available.
Kirk refused to take a breath test, according to court documents. Police also charged Kirk with reckless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia, which was a needle and spoon.
Six others also were charged with driving while impaired according to court records and law enforcement reports available between Feb. 14 and Feb. 20, 2017. In those cases, court documents indicate:
Terrence Jaron Epps, 27, of 411 Arbor St., was stopped at 3:29 p.m. on Feb. 16 on Farmville Boulevard near Bancroft Avenue by the Greenville police. He had slurred speech, an odor of alcohol and his blood alcohol level was 0.16. He also was charged with driving with a revoked license, speeding for driving 50 mph on in a 35-mph zone and failure to stop for blue lights and siren.
Kiersten Marie Talbot, 38, of 199 N.C. 124, Macclesfield, was stopped at 3:09 a.m. on Feb. 18 on N.C. 264 near Highway 211. He had red glassy eyes, a strong odor of alcohol, slurred speech and his blood alcohol level was 0.16.
Tiffany Yvette Peartree, 41, of 1101 Broad St., Apt. B, was stopped at 1:35 a.m. on Feb. 19 on N.C. 11 at Littlefield Drive in Grifton by the Grifton Police Department. She had red glassy eyes, was not steady on her feet, and her blood alcohol level 0.20.
Divine Rasheem Thomas Jr., 31, of 1008 B. Brownlea Drive, was stopped as 12:15 a.m. on Feb. 19 on County Home Road near Worthington Road by the N.C. State Highway Patrol. He had red glassy eyes, a strong odor of alcohol, was unsteady on his feet, was irate and emotional and refused to take a breath test.
Andrew Quintin Taylor, 27, of 480 University Drive, Apt. 12H, was stopped at 3:50 a.m. on Feb. 18 on Bancroft Avenue near Farmville Boulevard by the Greenville police. He was passed out in the vehicle, had red glassy eyes, slurred speech, was unsteady on his feet, and his blood alcohol level was 0.15.
Tara Faith Thompson, 19, 2451 Hunterchase Lane, was stopped at 4:12 a.m. on Feb 20 on N.C. 43 South near Mills Road by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office. She had red glassy eyes, and her blood alcohol level was 0.13.
