LAS VEGAS, NV : Driver hits kills pedestrian while fleeing from separate crash on Thursday, 22nd June 2023

Las Vegas police are searching for a suspect after striking and killing a pedestrian while fleeing from a separate crash Thursday night.

In a statement released Friday, LVMPD said the deadly crash was reported just before 10:30 p.m. on E. Sahara Avenue at State Street.

Investigators believe a black 2013 BMW 328i was heading east on Sahara at a high rate of speed when it was hit by a silver Mercury Sable that was making a left turn from Sahara onto State.

The BMW started to spin out while still moving east, and the passenger side of the car hit a man in his 30s who was in the bus lane of Sahara, according to police.
